Lampshade CRAFT is made in Quebec from cardboard recycled 100 %. The package contains a lampshade, which can be assembled by two different manners. The electric system is not supplied. The assembly of the lampshade is easily made, without tool. An explanatory guide is included in the packaging.
The Otra lampshades are made from plastic advertisement posters from the Montreal Metro. Sold as a flat package of 24 pieces, no tools are required for assembly. This shade offers creative freedom as it transformed by varying the amount of parts used for assembly and the fact that all parts are reversible. The design depends on each individual cutting and the advertising campaign, making each product unique.
Otra jewels are made from bicycle inner tubes; we wanted to create a paradox between pageantry and the recycled material. The added value is provided by the unique nature of the products and the manual work required for the development of these products. Treating waste as raw material is a way to recycle and serves as a sustainable development approach.
Otra flowerpots are designed to be hung on balcony guardrails. Initially inspired by gardener overalls, they are anchored in a modern way whilst retaining an aspect traditional to the world of gardening. Designed using recycled advertising tarpaulins; they consist of just this one material, limiting manufacturing costs. A simple fold is all that is needed for assembly and two clips allow the flowerpot to hang on a rail.
